People say that you’re either a water person OR a mountain person, but I have never been able to choose just one. Part of my soul is reserved for hiking and rock climbing, and the other part sails and longs to connect with water.
Beyond anything else, I love the outdoors and the thrill that comes with traveling to new places, trying new things and pushing my own boundaries. In my latest adventure, I cycled 500 miles solo down the east coast of the United States.
I have big dreams. The greatest one of them is to climb the highest peaks of each continent – the Seven Summits. I started this journey with a summit of Mt Kilimanjaro in October 2018.
The mountains don’t care how you show up or what you look like, maybe that’s why I value them so much. Wild, beautiful, rugged, and unpredictable—the high desert and mountains of Nevada and the Eastern Sierra have left an imprint on me that is unshakable.
I’m a rock climber, hiker, skier, and adventure enthusiast. And, if I’m not behind a camera, I’ll most likely have my nose in a book or map.
I’ve lived up and down the west coast, out of a car for a summer, an RV for a year, and in five countries on four continents. I currently reside in Vienna, Austria.
